10/25-26 - Way South Pow Wow - McAllen

 

Borderfest and the McAllen Grace Brethren Church will be presenting the 24th Annual South Texas Pow Wow. On October 25th and 26th, the Lark Community Center and Library will host this majestic event.

There will be Native American singers and musicians, as well as a Native American Exhibition Dance. Grand Entry will be at 6:30 PM with performances by:

Southern Drum – South Wind

Carlos Gonzalez

Northern Drum – Eagle Point

Robert Bass

Head Man Dancer – Erwin De Luna

Head Lady Dancer – Rosemary De Luna

Head Gourd Dancer – Lenny Medina

Master of Ceremonies – Bob Woolery

Arena Director – Danny Villarreal
