Mr. Amigo Invites You to Attend This Year’s “Taste of La Frontera“ at the Brownsville Events Center on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Children 8 years and up must have a ticket. You can purchase your pre-sale tickets for $20 at the Brownsville Convention & Visitor Bureau on Mon – Fri from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or Sat from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. or at Antonio's, Bigo's, the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce, First National Bank on Morrison Road, Now Realty at 2027 East Price Road of from any Mr. Amigo board members.

Among the participating restaurants are Antonio’s Mexican Village, Bigo’s, El Camino Bakery, Chef Ricardo’s, , Chili’s Grill & Bar, Cobbleheads, Cobblestone Court, La Corriente, Elva’s, El Fortin del Bravo, Johnny Carino’s Italian Restaurant, Mr. Taco, Adolio's, Texas Roadhouse, Rudy’s BBQ, Shenanigans, and The Vermillion, plus many more. Log on to www.mramigo.com for updates on participating restaurants. Nearly 40 years old, the Mr. Amigo Association works to promote relations between the United States and Mexico and highlight the way of life between Brownsville and Matamoros. Taste of La Frontera starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are $25 at the door.
