2/15 - Pioneer & Ranching Crafts Day - Edinburg

The Museum of South Texas History invites the community to celebrate this year’s Pioneer & Ranching Crafts Day from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Feb. 15., included in the fee for regular museum admission.

Visitors will enjoy a highly interactive and entertaining event while learning about South Texas traditions and foods that are distinctly RGV.Now in its 24th year, MOSTHistory’s Pioneer & Ranching Crafts Day continues to deliver on making each event special. In addition to the always popular authentic craft demonstrations, visitors this year will be able to watch as an artist demonstrates using a hand press to print colorful artwork. For those that are new to nopal or Prickly Pear cactus as a food, they will have the opportunity to try a sample.

Admission to Pioneer & Ranching Crafts Day 2014 is the regular admission price, passes excluded: $7 adults (ages 18+); $5 seniors with ID (ages 62+), students with ID (ages 13+); $4 children ages 4 to 12; free, children ages 3 and under. FRIENDS of the museum are admitted free as a benefit of FRIENDship.
