The Edinburg United Police Officer Association will be having their 1st Annual Run with the Law for a Cause 5k Fun Run/Walk which will be donating its proceeds to CASA of Hidalgo and the Children's Advocacy Center - Estrella's House. The Edinburg Police Union recognized the amount of dedicated work contributed by the staff of each organization to help in cases involving child abuse, prompting the Police Union in taking action, and raising the awareness of child abuse.

Packet pickup is scheduled for April 5, 2013 at the Edinburg Police Department. Registration is also open the day of the event.

Online registration has come to a close but you can still register at the Edinburg Police Department during normal working hours. Mon-Fri. 8am - 5pm, until April 5, 2013.
