
"The State Championship Cook Off will award more than $10,000 in prizes. The teams will compete in the usual IBCA categories of chicken, brisket, and pork ribs. Other jackpot categories are: dessert, fajitas, pan de campo, beans, and chef's choice. Fee for a team of five is $200 with additional categories being $25 each. In addition to the official IBCA Cook Off, there will be a Kiddie Cook Off with age categories of 8-12 and 13-18 years old. The $25 registration fee includes an apron, chef's hat and barbecue pit.
There will be live entertainment on stage both days. Other activities include a Jalapeno eating contest, Chihuahua Race, Poker Race, and Bike Skill Events, Dog Costume Contest, and Wrestling. Vendors will sell food, crafts, services, etc.
