11/16 - Migration Celebration - Edinburg

The Edinburg World Birding Center will be hosting the annual fall festival celebrating migration on Saturday November 16th. Featuring a wide array of activities including a bat migration talk from a local expert, a bat walk, crafts, games and other hands-on activities; this event will highlight the miraculous and mysterious bat!
We will be showing a film on a large screen outdoors. As we combine this spectacular film with all there is to learn about bats and their migration, tour our grounds, enjoy the festivities, and learn about all the amazing wildlife that visit our unique area as they travel through the RGV to stay warm for the winter. Whether you have been to our Center before or this would be your first time exploring our grounds we would be delighted for you to join us!
Migration Celebration will be on Saturday November 16th from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. The movie will begin at 7:00 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be for sale on site. This great family event is FREE! The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center is located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Rd. (in the Edinburg Municipal Park), Edinburg Texas.
