The 17th Annual Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival will take place on the weekend of OCTOBER 11, 12 & 13, 2013. Festival starts on Friday, October 11th. Doors open on Saturday, October 12th at 7:00 p.m. at Jacob Brown Auditorium with Grammy Nominated tribute by the top Latin Jazz musicians in Los Angeles to the Great Conguero Mongo Santamaria - Jose Rizo's Mongorama.
On Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the corner of 11th and Levee Streets and Brownsville's Historic District there will be music, food, art, dance, and culture with Jazz on the Latin Side All Stars which include performances by the UTB Jazz Band, the UTPA One O'Clock Latin Band, ANI & the Starlite Band, Salsa Verde, ACHE de Barrio plus Mayra's Dancers.
